Privacy policy

This is the privacy policy of ACCS International, established Meerenakkerweg 1a, 5652 AR Eindhoven, hereinafter referred to as ACCS International.

Applicability

ACCS International respects the privacy of any person whose personal data are processed by ACCS International, including those of visitors to the website www.accsinternational.com and www.accsinternational.nl (hereinafter: “the website”). ACCS International considers the careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. ACCS International will process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016). The personal data provided by you to ACCS International will be processed and shared by ACCS International with third parties if and insofar as this is done with your consent or if and insofar as this is necessary to execute our services, whether or not through the website , a contact request submitted, a contract agreement between you and ACCS International or the processing of your request to implement an agreement between you and ACCS International. The personal data provided by you to ACCS International will only be processed for the purposes for which you have provided this personal data, for example to be able to handle your contact request or request for the implementation of an agreement or to be able to carry out an agreement with you. If you have entered into an agreement with ACCS International where ACCS International helps you or the person you represent (hereinafter referred to as “talent”) in the pursuit to study and play sports abroad, the personal data is processed only if and to the extent necessary for carrying out the agreement in question. If the personal data required under the agreement are not provided, ACCS International may not perform the relevant agreement properly.

Purpose and bases processing of personal data

By agreeing to this privacy statement, you explicitly consent within the meaning of article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR for the processing of your personal data for the purposes set out below. You can withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide us with certain information or do not allow us to process this information, we may not be able to provide our service to you properly. If you have not given us explicit consent for the processing of your personal data or if you have withdrawn this consent, the processing of your personal data may be based on the principles of articles 6 (1) (b) (c) and/or F of the GDPR of Apply. In that case, processing of your personal data may take place without your consent, provided that this is necessary for the execution of an agreement in which you are or become a party, or necessary for the representation of the legitimate interests of ACCS International. In addition, we may have a legal obligation to process your personal data.

Provision to third parties

In the context of an agreement with you, the personal data you provide will be shared with third parties, depending on the stage of execution of the agreement, if this is necessary to implement that agreement. For example, but not exclusively, coaches and/or administrative staff of educational establishments, but also other organizations and individuals if deemed necessary for the ability to execute our services or if necessary to analyze our services. Information provided about the ‘talent’ includes his/her name, address details, e-mail address and telephone number, his/her academic data, his/her data relating to the sport practiced by him/her and his/her physical characteristics, such as weight, length and other relevant sporting information. Also, possibly manufactured footage of the ‘talent’ in the form of a recruitment video, the school results of the ‘talent’ in the form of reports and diplomas, as well as its results of various tests that are in the context of the agreement have been taken, will be shared with coaches and/or administrative staff of an educational institution concerned as well with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement.

ACCS International may ask you for permission to post photos of the athlete on social media or the website. If the athlete is a minor, the consent is (partly) requested from the parent or legal guardian of the ‘talent’. Any consent granted may be withdrawn at any time. ACCS International also provides personal data to third parties to comply with a legal obligation, for example to comply with government laws, to fulfil the tax obligations of ACCS International or for the representation of the legitimate interests of ACCS International or of a third party, except where the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subjected, which are for the protection of personal information, outweigh those interests. For example, legitimate interests include detecting (attempts to) unlawful and/or punishable behavior directed against ACCS International or third parties. Furthermore, under legitimate interests, the processing (including the storing included) of personal data by the hosting provider of ACCS International to exploit the website and e-mail facilities of ACCS International is understood to be the operator of cloud data storage software used by ACCS International (such as One Drive, Dropbox and Google Drive) and sharing of personal data, including name and address information, with an audit firm for administration and accounting ends. ACCS International processes the personal data you have provided within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). However, certain personal data collected by ACCS International may be transmitted to or stored outside the EEA, for example to coaches and/or administrative staff of the educational institution concerned or in connection with the Use of Google Analytics on the website. If ACCS International subcontracts the processing of personal data to a third party, such as in the case of the use of Google Analytics, ACCS International shall ensure that the processing of personal data outside the EEA, including the processing of IP addresses ( In case of Google Analytics) is done in a safe and lawful manner. In that regard, ACCS International will conclude a processor agreement with third parties to which ACCS International subcontracts the processing of personal data.

Cookies on the website

ACCS International uses functional and analytical cookies on the website. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your device when you visit the website. ACCS International uses cookies with only one technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to be able to optimize it. Furthermore, through analytical cookies, ACCS International collects data for research in order to gain a better understanding of the use of the website by its visitors. To do this, ACCS International uses Google Analytics. Analytical cookies help analyze how the website is used by collecting log data and visitor behavior on the website in an anonymous form. The data regarding the use of the website (including your IP address) are sent to Google. This information is then used to evaluate website usage and to compile statistical reports. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is required to do so by law or insofar as such third parties process the information on behalf of Google. ACCS International will never use the information provided by Google to collect personally identifiable information from the visitors. Neither ACCS International nor Google will connect an IP address to your identity as a computer user. You can prevent or restrict the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. However, if you restrict the use of cookies, you may not be able to take full advantage of the functionalities of the website.

Commercial purposes

Your personal data may be used by ACCS International for market research and the optimization of our services. Your personal data are anonymized in that context and are therefore no longer identifiable to you. Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes, unless you expressly consent to this.

Storing and storing personal data

Personal data shall be retained by ACCS International for as long as necessary, with regard to the purposes for which they were obtained. ACCS International shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss and against any form of unlawful processing. These measures, taking into account the state of technical standards and the costs of implementation, shall ensure an appropriate level of security in view of the risks posed by the processing and the nature of the data to be protected. The measures also aim to prevent unnecessary processing of personal data.

Reviewing, correcting and/or deleting

You have the right to request ACCS International to inspect, delete and/or rectify the personal data you have provided, as well as to restrict the processing. You also have the right to object to the processing and you are entitled to data portability. Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on the consent obtained from you, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing on the basis of the consent before the revocation thereof. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for revocation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to info@accsinternational.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority or in case you reside in a country other than the Netherlands, the supervisory authority in your country of residence.
